Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey - Fully Charged 9-8-11 Oakland Arena

The Greatest Show on Earth has arrived...today...at the Oakland Coliseum!
Oh yes the circus is in town and I was lucky enough to get to go on opening day! Like all big events we like coming early, to avoid rushing, waiting in long lines & just getting stressed out on looking for & getting to your seats before the show starts. At Ringling Bros., if you come early - you can look forward to the awesome pre show. What's the pre show? Well you can walk around to the right of the arena. And you can see the horses, zebras & elephants - oh my! Although you cannot pet them you can take pictures. Seeing an animal so close up is breath taking, kids just love it. After you have made your way around that area, you can make your way inside the arena - where everyone is allowed to see the performers close up, take picture with performers and those funny clowns. Dress up in costume (they're out there for you to wear & take pictures in) watch the acrobats up in the air, jugglers perform and it's quite a show. Asia the elephant will also make an appearance and will paint a couple pictures & you have a chance to win one, just fill out an entry form at one of the kiosks on the arena floor.
There's a ton of souvenirs. Lots of spinning lights toys, a mowhawk that lights up, stuffed animals, swords, cotton candy with either a hat attached or a pink plastic pigtails wig. there programs available, you can have the performers autograph it for you during the pre show. All items are reasonably priced and theres plenty of places to buy them. Ok on with the show...
It starts out with the clowns coming out to get the crowd warmed up, clapping and being goofy. The ringleader follows with the singing of the national anthem. Followed by the whole cast coming out to sing the Fully Charged Theme Song. There plenty to see and it's quite entertaining. From the lion tamer that is in a cage filled with tigers to all of the entertaining skits. The tightrope walkers make it look easy as well as the acrobats in the rotating pendulum. (you've just got to see that!) There's a great horse act, it amazing how they perform. The clowns are hilarious. The 2 strong men will amaze you with their strength. Jugglers will juggle like you've never seen before. And there's so much more...
From just about every seat you will have an awesome view of the show. I really doubt that there's a bad seat in the house. You will not be disappointed and will leave the show happy & will remember it for years to come!
